Creating a Garden of Prayer and Contemplation

Posted by on Oct 2, 2014 in News

EAT Landscape has been appointed on a wonderful new commission, to design a new garden of prayer and contemplation at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs and St Swithin’s Catholic Church in Croxteth, Liverpool.

The aim of the project is to transform an overgrown area of outdoor space connected to the church into a calm and peaceful oasis where individuals and groups can gather to worship, pray and hold celebrations. Before we begin the design options we are keen to gather thoughts and ideas from the congregation and different church groups, so the enthusiastic Father Kenny will be coordinating this process and formulating a Design Brief for us to work to.
